Learning With Flashcards

Curriculum

The Early Learning Nest does not believe in a rigorous academic approach for young children. Instead, our program is grounded in research-based practices and Developmentally Appropriate Practice (DAP).

We practice a whole-child approach and have developmentally sequenced activities to ensure children are learning the appropriate material at the appropriate time.

We recognize that young children learn best through movement, play, and exploration of the world around them, which is why our environment encourages curiosity and opportunities to move throughout the day.

While we have a curriculum framework, our priority is the achievement of the learning objective rather than the manner in which it is provided to students. The curriculum is meant to serve as a guide; activities are tailored to reflect the needs of the students.
